Guojing (Jing Guo) is an illustrator and concept artist. Her wordless picture book ‘The Only Child,’ was a New York Times Best Illustrated book and a Publishers Weekly Best Top 10 Children’s Books of 2015. The story is based on her own experiences as a child in China.
Guojing saw her picture book ‘Stormy: A Story About Finding a Forever Home’ published September 2019.
In September 2022 Guojing’s graphic novel ‘The Flamingo’ was published by Random House Studio. It received incredible starred reviews. One of the book’s images was part of The Society Of Illustrators Original Art exhibition on the UES, NYC.
In February 2025 Guojing will see her graphic novel Oasis published with Godwin Books (Macmillan Children’s).
Guojing lives in Canada with her husband and son.
