Kristen Bateman is a writer, editor and creative consultant with over ten years experience. She wrote a book on New York style published July, 2023 and has a book coming out on Tom Ford in July 2024. She’s also working on three more fashion and style books that are top secret, published by Hachette. She specializes in writing fashion and beauty features for print and digital publications including: The New York Times Style Section, T magazine, Vogue, W Magazine, The Cut, CNN Style, Harper’s Bazaar, Dazed, Town & Country, Architectural Digest, Elle and many more more. She also writes the shopping newsletter Doll Dealbook, runs the jewelry brand Dollchunk and occasionally writes on her own independent website on beauty, fashion and culture, called Sudden Chic. On the consulting side, she works with brands, agencies and individuals leading content marketing, copywriting, social strategy, creative direction and much more for Estee Lauder, Nordstrom, Longchamp, Whistles, Ralph Lauren, Hilton, Barclays  and more.
