The wonderful Ged Adamson is very busy with his latest four picture book deals with his publishers HarperCollins, Schwartz and Wade (Random House) and Peter Pauper Press. See below for more details:
Margaret Anastes of HarperCollins bought world rights to two picture books by Ged Adamson. ‘Ava and the Rainbow Who Stayed’ and an Untitled. Ava is about a little girl who is entranced by a beautiful rainbow and wishes he could stay forever. The next morning, Ava is astonished to see that her wish has come true and the rainbow quickly becomes famous. How long will his fame last? Ava learns a valuable lesson about appreciating a beautiful moment and then letting it go – until the next time! Publication for the first book is set for Feb 2018.

And finally we tried out the new look/new management for famous literary haunt, Chumleys, in our neighbourhood of the West Village, Manhattan. We were pleased to see the walls still decorated with 1st edition book jackets and pictures of writers such as Hemingway. Well worth a visit!

“Isabel opened the doors that led to my work being published. Throughout, she has offered honest opinions and patient coaching – all without ever losing the courtesy, gentility and decency that makes her a pleasure to know. I owe her deeply!”
