Guojing’s ‘The Flamingo’ at the SOI Original Art 2022

I had a great afternoon today at the Original Art exhibition at the Society of Illustrators on Manhattan's Upper East Side. This year, the exhibition features work from Guojing's new book 'The Flamingo', edited by Lee Wade - with art director Rachael Cole and published by Random House Studio. This is the third time that Guojing has been featured in the prestigious exhibition. Seeing clients get recognised by their peers for their outstanding work is one of the best parts of my job.

Located at 128 East 63rd St in Manhattan, NYC and founded in 1901, the Society of Illustrators describes itself as “the oldest nonprofit organization dedicated to the art of illustration in America… Notable Society members have been N.C. Wyeth, Rube Goldberg, and Norman Rockwell, among many others”. The Original Art exhibit showcases original art from the year’s best children’s books as determined by a jury of outstanding illustrators, art directors, and editors.
